9 categories of imported agricultural machinery equipment are subject to quality inspection

According to the report of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, there are 9 categories of imported agricultural machinery and equipment subject to quality inspection.

Specifically, the list of goods includes: Pedestrian controlled tractors for agricultural use; Agricultural tractors; Machinery for soil preparation (including: Ploughs, harrows and others); Seeders, planters and transplanters; Electrically operated sprayers and not electrically operated sprayers; Combine harvester-threshers and other harvesting machinery (sugar cane, maize, plants for animal and poultry feed and common water hyacinth); Mowers; Binding machinery for straw and fodder; and manual chainsaws.

In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also inform about two agencies to inspect the quality of agricultural machinery and equipment when they are imported including: Vietnam Control Disinfecting Assessment Joint Stock Company located in Ho Chi Minh City and the Machine and Equipment Assessment Center located in Hanoi.
