Luc Ngan early ripen lychee fetches high price
According to the People’s Committee in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province, it is the harvest season for several orchards of early ripen lychee in the local.

Thanks to the master of caring technique, the fruits have the delectable taste and beautiful appearance which are widely preferred by the customers. The lychee now fetches an average price of nearly 40,000 VND (1.76 USD) per kilogram, higher than that of other localities.
However, the little quantity of early ripen lychee just accounts for a small part in the total area of local lychee cultivation. The farmers are focusing on watering and supplying the nutrition to the U hong lychee and main crop in order to ensure the quality for domestic and export markets.
Lychee is one of the staples in the northern province of Bac Giang. This crop enjoys a high fruit bearing rate of over 90 percent and promises for a bumper harvest season, yielding some 150,000 tonnes of fruits.
