Tan Yen strives to grant new VietGAP certificate to early ripen lychee growing area
Tan Yen district strives to grant the new VietGAP certificate to more than 100 hectares growing early ripen lychee locally, mostly in Phuc Hoa commune, the Division of Agriculture and Rural Development in Tan Yen district, Bac Giang province reported.
The early ripen lychee cultivation area in Quat Du 2 hamlet, Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district).
To fulfill the set target, the district competent agencies have coordinated with the Center of Ago – Forestry - Fishery Quality in Region I (Hai Phong province) to inspect and guide the farmers to strictly follow the production procedure so as to ensure the lychee quality.
Currently, Tan Yen is home to 108 hectares of early ripen lychee with VietGAP certificate which helps ease the consumption, bring the fruit to several supermarkets, increase the value as well as create customers’ belief.
