Tan Yen district supports hi-tech agriculture models

In 2018, Tan Yen district (Bac Giang province) targets at building 8 – 10 hi-tech agricultural farming models, including 3-5 provincial level and 5 district level ones.

To fulfill the set goal, the local authority established the policy, supporting 50 million VND (2,200 USD) to the district level models with the scale of 500 square meters to below 1,000 square meters of net house or membrane house; 70 million VND (3,000 USD) to the models with the scale of 1,000 square meters to below 2,000 square meters while the larger models will be sponsored by the province.

Currently, the district is calling for enterprises to invest in hi-tech farming of various vegetables and fruits in an area of 15 – 20 hectares in Ngoc Thien commune as well as in more than 30 hectares in the communes of Phuc Son, Lam Cot and Song Van.

Additionally, several communes, towns, businesses and cooperatives have been supported in building, developing and having their agriculture product trademarks protected such as peanut, early ripen lychee, safe pork, star apple fruit, red onion among others.
