Thuan An city’s Support Fund for Farmers and its branches supported the development of collective economic models over the past five years. The whole city has so far had 27 effective economic groups, generating jobs for laborers.

After five years of implementing the Project on “Further improving the operational effectiveness of provincial Support Fund for Farmers in the 2016-2020 period”, the city’s Farmers ‘Association and its branches reached positive results, contributing to the local socio-economic development. The association also made efforts in developing its support fund for farmers.
It is known that as of late May, 2020, the city’s Support Fund for Farmers amounted to more than VND12.4million. Since 2016, the fund and its branches have provided nearly 80 projects with more than VND23billion from 980 households.
Nguyen Thuy Minh Chi, Chairwoman of Thuan An city’s Farmers ‘Association said that over the past years, the association’s fund upheld its efficiency, helping farmers get conditions for economic development. In the coming time, along with creating favorable conditions for farmers to get loans, the association will continue coordinating with sectors to open training courses, supporting farmers to get access to sci-tech advancements for better development…
