Seedlings Of Tomatoes Are Drained. How Do You Stop This?
Farmers who grow tomato seedlings face different problems.
Among them is the drainage of the stalks and their slightly sore appearance. Where is the reason behind? It is very banal – or you did not care well or vice versa. Here are two basic rules that plants will not be downloaded.
Light. The natural behavior of plants is: the light does not reach – the plants are drawn to it. Therefore, when sowing seeds for seedlings, do not be greedy. You do not have to throw a lot of seeds in a small area. Let them have fewer plants, but be strong and strong. Such tomatoes will give much more fruit than the slender sprouts grown up.
Excessive care.
That is why you can do a lot of damage to your seedlings. If you polish it excessively and you torture it, the stalks will grow and head to the top. As a result, they will be downloaded. Seedlings should be watered when you notice that the soil is dry, this is the basic rule.
To remedy the situation, we will offer you two ways. The first is when planting the plants outside you have to put them deeper. But that does not mean you have to dig deeper wells, it’s just enough to put the plants on a slope. In the first place, make an 8-10 cm deep groove, pour water and wait for it to be fully absorbed. Then place the plants on the furrow in such a way that the tops of one stem is not closer than the top of the other one by 50 cm. It is a trick to put the plant roots to the south, so the plants will draw to the sun.
The second way involves dividing seedlings into two parts. For this purpose, everything on the 5-6th sheet should be cut and placed in a container of water. After a week the roots will appear on the peaks. When they reach a length of 1-1.5 cm, you can transplant them into pots or pots. This method will allow you to get extra seedlings.
You have to prune at the bottom. Soon on these stalks will appear colts. Let them grow up to 5 cm and leaving only the two upper ones, remove everything. The pruning of the tomato cobbles should be 20-25 days prior to planting, otherwise, the tomato seedlings can be pulled out in the garden.
