In February and March is the time for planting vegetables and summer flowers.

With a little dexterity, you can make yourself a basket of seedlings instead of buying ones from the store. It’s not hard to do and it does not take long.

While the home garden is still sleeping hibernation, you can use the time to start looking after the summer garden. So in early May you will have strong plants that will have blossomed, and some species may have tied fruits.

You can plant the seeds in peat or coconut baskets, but the same paper will work out newspapers. Below you will see how you can make yourself a basket of newspapers yourself.

Take a newspaper page and bend it in half in the middle of two halves. You should get a double lined band approximately 30 x 12 cm.

Then take an empty glass salt pan or other similar sized object and wrap half of it with the paper.

Push the paper into the bore of the container.

Remove the paper and let the paper basket stand on the counter.

Our baskets have a diameter of about 6 cm and a height of about 4 cm, and the soil does not fill the basket with more than 1 cm of soil.

Now you have to fill the paper baskets with your finger and put the seeds in them.
