O2-Turbine Aerator enables oxygen enrichment with better energy efficiency
FARMERS NEED!
The rapid growth of the world's population results in a greater demand for protein rich food. Over the past several decades, Farmed fish aquaculture has become the leading source of protein consumption, due to its nutritional benefits, smaller environmental footprint, and cost-effectiveness.
Fish farming requires dissolved oxygen and fish food in order to increase fish crop. Enriching dissolved oxygen in fishponds is achieved through aerator devices, mainly with paddle wheels that spray fishpond water into the air. The existing aerators are heavy (around 70 Kg) and logistically cumbersome to operate. Moreover, as the aerators are electric-powered it significantly increases the risk of electrocution to fish farm operators (fishermen) and results in high insurance premium.
OUR INNOVATIVE SOLUTION
O2-Turbine Aerator develops an innovative aerator system, operated by water pressure rather than electricity, rendering it completely safe, light and simple to operate.
The O2-Turbine Aerator device comprises of a unique patented motor powered by water, combined with a break-through designed aeration wheel, presenting an entirely new type of oxygen enrichment method, radically different from the traditional paddle wheel, featuring low drag and power consumption.

The advanced design enables oxygen enrichment with better energy efficiency.
The new aerator is entirely made of plastic materials, making it light and durable, ensuring a long product life span and enabling its deployment with ease, thereby cutting on the operating costs of fish farms.
By operating on water pressure alone, the system has no electrical components inside the wet pond environment, thus rendering it completely safe to operate.
Owing to its radical new design, the power needed to operate the aeration wheel is not affected by the depth of immersion, unlike conventional aerators, thus enabling layers mixture in depths deeper than 1 meter, thus increasing the oxygen enrichment in those layers.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
O2-Turbine Aerator represents a family of innovative and ecological products in the arena of water or liquid aeration. The primary advantage of this product is a rotating turbine aerator having no internal moving parts. As the turbine rotates beneath the surface, it pushes atmospheric air into the water or liquid after first shearing the air into microscopic bubbles.
The O2-Turbine Aerator with no moving parts internally, thus obtaining a great advantage in terms of reliability and energy efficiency. Fine bubble aeration is an efficient way to transfer oxygen to a water body. The O2-Turbine outperforms any water aerator on the market today.
The O2-Turbine combines the physics principles of precession (applied to the rotation of fluids) and centrifugal force. Using precession, the rotating sub-surface disc creates a low pressure zone within its internal chamber. This zone is then filled with air forced down an air tube by surface air pressure. As this air is gathered within the disc, it is immediately expelled by centrifugal force into the surrounding water.
Controlled direction of output streams – Preventing damage to ponds' bottom.
No requirement for a transfer box – Direct connection between motor and wheels.
Flexible operating conditions - Since the motor is running and operating in water, without any electrical connections / components, the system can operate perfectly when partially or fully immersed in the pond.
Light weight, durable materials - The entire system is made of plastic, rendering it considerably lighter than existing aerators, and as a result easy to transport and operate.
TECHNOLOGY BENEFITS
Lower energy consumption
Dissolved oxygen enriching at a faster pace
Straightforward logistics
No electricity in wet environment
The revolutionary and proprietary design of O2-Turbine Aerator will allow the fish farming industry to meet its dissolved oxygen needs in a cost-effective, convenient, and safe manner, without compromising performance.
The new aeration system will produce dissolved oxygen at a faster rate, with lower energy consumption, and simple logistics.
The new aerator is made entirely of plastic, allowing it to be exceptionally lightweight and durable, thus enabling a single fisherman to carry and deploy aerators, thereby reducing the operating costs of fish farms.
