The farmers in Moi Mit hamlet, Yen Mong commune (Hoa Binh City) develop citrus plantation for high economic efficiency.

The Farmers Association of Yen Mong commune has 9 branches with nearly 780 members. The Chairman of the Commune Farmers Association added: "The number of families having farmer members is more than 94% of the total households in the commune.

Making the goal of changing the structure of plants and animals become real, in time supporting the farmers techniques, from 2017 to now, the Commune Farmer Association has cooperated with The Center for Learning Community has opened 3 training courses, a short-term vocational training course with practical contents, such as: extracting and caring of grapefruits; raising gardening chickens; citrus planting techniques; integrated pest disease management, etc. This is considered to be useful knowledge for the localities that are promoting the improvement of mixed orchards and citrus planting development in combination with farm- scale farming. In order to solve difficulties of capital for farmers, at present, the Farmers Association has provided credit with the Social Policy Bank for 124 member households with a total amount of 2.2 billion VND.

Taking advantage of the local strengths of the hills, available grassy area, from 2016, the Farmer Union of Bun village has set up a "Cooperative group of raising cattle" with 10 household members, the initial capital was 300 million VND, up to now, there have been 14 young cattle of buffalos and cows.

According to the statistics at the end of 2017, the whole commune has 280 members registered to run good production and business at all levels, the result was that 74 families achieved good production and business households. Of which, 5 good production households are at the provincial level, 31 good production households are at the city level, etc. In the area of ​​the commune, there are many models of effective economic restructuring, with the income of 200 - 300 million VND, even 500 million VND per year. This active restructuring from farmers has contributed to the economic development that has significantly improved their rural appearance.
