According to reports from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on Thursday, the agricultural industry posted a gross domestic product growth of 2.65 percent in the first half of 2017. The export value of agro, aqua and forestry products increased 2.81 percent.
Although unusual weather caused slight reduction in rice, litchi and cashew nut output, the price of main farm produce except pepper has been stable and in uptrend.
