Enterprises urge high-tech shrimp farming investment
After the Vietnamese Government decided to establish the hi-tech shrimp farming park in the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu, the locality actively called on investors.
Vietnam's shrimp industry strives to achieve the export target of US$ 10 billion by 2025
The report was issued by the People’s Committee of Bac Lieu province yesterday.
Currently, nearly 20 leading domestic and foreign enterprises have registered for the investment.
Earlier, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc signed a decision to establish and issue operation regulation of the high- tech farming park.
The establishment aims to apply and develop advanced technology in shrimp farming and transfer the modern technology for the shrimp sector in the Mekong Delta region's localities.
The park covers 418 hectares of land at Hiep Thanh commune of Bac Lieu city.
According to the government's direction, the national shrimp industry strives to achieve the export target of US$ 10 billion by 2025.
