Vietnam earned 31.7 million USD from exporting catfish to the UK, accounting for 4.7% of the total fish exports to 130 markets, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

Vietnam’s catfish exports to the UK keep rising despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the most positive growth in the top 10 largest catfish export markets for Vietnam in the first half of this year.

The UK bought a kilo of catfish at up to 3.98 USD, a relatively stable price rate in in the first six months. If the export value keeps stable in the coming quarters, the export growth to the UK, Vietnam’s fifth largest import market, will likely increase more than 10% this year.
