As surveyed, models on hi-tech agricultural models have loomed large across the district. Thanks to the attention and support of the local authorities at all levels, farmers herein have developed cultivation and animal husbandry models with hi-tech application under VietGap standards. Some typical hi-tech agricultural models include the hi-tech orchid-growing model of Nguyen Ngoc Diep in Phuoc Vinh township’s quarter 5; the rockmelon-growing model of Nguyen Van Cuong in An Binh commune’s Ca Na hamlet with the annual income of billions of dong…

To Van Dat, Vice-Chairman of the district’s People’s Committee said that in terms of agricultural development orientation, the district defined that boosting hi-tech agricultural production is a right and necessary way to shift the plant structure and increase the value of farming land use, thereby improving the local farmers’ income. As of now, the whole district has had a total of 104 hi-tech agricultural models, bringing stable income to the local farmers. The district is expected to build a consumption chain for the local agricultural products.

“In the coming time, the district will further guide farmers to get access to preferential loans for hi-tech agricultural production while organizing training courses on new techniques in cultivation and animal husbandry for them. The district will also attach special importance to the linkage in production between hi-tech agricultural models, thereby aiming to ensure a supply of products as well as improving the quality of products and building up their trademark”, Mr.Dat said.
