The Center of Industrial Encouragement and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade) has inked agreement to support Hong Xuan Agriculture Production and General Service Cooperative in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province to invest in equipment and machine for farm produce preservation.

The Center will mobilize 300 million VND (12,900 USD) from the provincial capital for industrial encouragement to support the cooperative to build one frozen warehouse to store lychee, orange, pomelo, jujube...

Now, the cooperative has 18 members who cultivate more than 10 ha of lychee, 12 ha of orange and pomelo. Annually, the cooperative also consumes about 400 tonnes of lychee, 100 tonnes of jujube and custard apple ...for the linked groups in the local area.

The warehouse construction helps reduce the loss of product quantity and quality in the peak harvest time to meet the demand for both domestic and export markets.
