Bac Giang lychees promoted at Vietnamese Goods Week at AEON in Japan
Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Vu Hong Nam on June 4 had an online working session with Governor of Kagoshima prefecture Shiota Koichi to discuss ways to develop economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and the Japanese locality.
Bac Giang lychees are put for sale in Japan.
At the meeting, Governor Shiota Koichi showed pictures of Vietnam's first batch of fresh lychees that are available at the AEON supermarket system in Kagoshima prefecture within the framework of the ongoing programme “Vietnamese Goods Week at AEON Kagoshima” from June 4 to 6.
Besides the introduction and sale of Vietnamese fresh lychees for the first time at AEON Kagoshima, the Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan also informed that Vietnamese lychees are favoured and appreciated by Japanese people in terms of quality.
Therefore, in order to continue to bring Vietnamese lychee products to Japanese consumers, the unit is coordinating with the representatives of Japan’s AEON Corporation to promote the images of Vietnamese goods in the programme "Vietnamese Goods Week at AEON”. This programme mainly focuses on promoting lychees and some typical agricultural products of Vietnam.
“Vietnamese Goods Week at AEON Japan” is expected to be deployed at more than 300 supermarkets/stores of AEON across Japan from June 25-27.
