Bac Giang lychees exported to European market
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, on June 10, Bac Giang lychees arrived at Germany to supply to local customers.

E-commerce platform Voso (Viettel Post) connected and delivered 5 tonnes of Bac Giang lychees to German market on June 6 which were grown under GlobalGAP procedure and harvested in a orchard in Luc Ngan district with clear origin and traceability. The fruits passed preliminary processing and preservation as regulation to export via airline to this market.
After the first batch of lychee arrived at Germany, Viettel Post is now implementing procedure to bring Vietnamese special fruit to European market to introduce to the local customers.
Exporting to German market helped open new market for Bac Giang lychee and increase value for lychee growers.
In the upcoming time, lychee will be sold to the Czech Republic where there are huge population and big Vietnamese community. Previously, lychees were present at Japand, Singapore, Thailand, the US, Cambodia among others.
The participation of 7 major e-commerce platform to consume Bac Giang lychee helps the local special fruit conquer new markets, especially high class ones.
