Vietnam Farmers’ Union (VFU) on January 17 held a ceremony to honor 153 typical national agriculture products in Hanoi.

The products were divided into 3 groups of farm produce, processing products and products for agriculture.

Luc Ngan lychee is sold at Big C Thang Long Supermarket in the framework of "Luc Ngan - Bac Giang Lychee Week in Hanoi" in 2018.

Three products of Bac Giang province were recognized, including Luc Ngan lychee (Association of Lychee Production and Consumption in Luc Ngan district); Yen Dung fragrant rice (Association of Fragrant Rice Production and Consumption in Yen Dung district), Chu rice noodle (Thu Duong Rice Noodle Production and Consumption Cooperative in Luc Ngan district).

The programme of “Honoring the typical agriculture products” was initiated in 2013 with a deep socio-political meaning, helping the farmers effectively execute the Party’s instruction and orientation as well as Government’s policy and law on agriculture, farmer and rural.

It is also a good chance for the peasantry to understand, select, give comment and evaluation as well as believe in using the domestic farm produce.
