Bac Giang develops bio-safety chicken breeding model

In 2019, the Agriculture Encouragement Center in Bac Giang province cooperated with Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University to execute the project to develop a bio-safety breeding model of color feather chicken that links with product consumption in the Northern midland and mountainous provinces.

Participating the project, the breeders will be supported 70 percent of the cost for variety, food and veterinary medicine as well as join the training courses held by Bac Giang Agriculture and Forestry University.

The member households must be located in the mountainous midland communes, have garden to breed the chicken with sufficient cage area to raise from 500 – 1,000 heads following the project regulation.

The project is executed in three years (2019 - 2021) with total scale of 86,000 chickens in the provinces of Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son and Phu Tho.
